I know I say this every year around this time, but my nephews are SO stinkin’ handsome. And can you even handle that toothless grin?! Their parents are basically models, so we always have a good time. Love y’all!!
Taylor Grace. FOUR.
This girl. Quarantine life isn’t her ideal because she LOVES people. She loves to love. But we made the best of celebrating her - filled her day with her favorite things, made a cake together, and stayed up late! The slow down 2020 has caused has been refreshing…now if only I could find a way to get time to slow down!!
Ty. Newborn.
It was such a pleasure to be welcomed into Tyler & Emily’s gorgeous (farmhouse dream!) home to celebrate the arrival of their precious little boy. The joy and calm truly radiated in all of them, and it did my heart so much good! You are wonderful parents, and I can’t wait to see you again soon!
Watson. Newborn.
Having babies with your best friends is such a blessing. Allie and I met in high school and reconnected our first semester at NCState. We then lived together the next 3 years and have been besties ever since. True friendship is that regardless of distance and time, you are always there for each other. I love doing life together and that four of our five babies are only months apart. It was such an honor to capture such a special time for her - I love these girls to PIECES.
Summertime at the Shore.
The beach holds a special place in the hearts of my family. There’s something monumental about a baby’s first visit - that first time they get their toes in the sand, see the waves, splash around…eat sand ;) We’re in for it this summer! The first of many trips is on the books!
Green. Family.
I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter family to hop back into family photos after my maternity leave! I love watching these sweet boys grow up and their hearts grow even bigger - seriously, they are just the sweetest!!
Styled Shoot. The Historic Wakefield Barn.
It’s about time I blogged the amazing styled shoot from the workshop I attended last Spring! About 9 weeks pregnant with baby Julian, I dove into a 2 day FULL workshop hosted by my dear friend, A.J. Dunlap. I highly recommend this once a year event for any photographer looking to improve their photography and grow their business! A.J. so openly shared what she has learned building her business, and I made some great connections as well! Check out info for her workshop here.

The inside of this barn is where dreams come true. It took my breath away when I walked in. The chandeliers, the beams, the WHITE. And can we talk about what an amazing job the vendors did with this table setting?
Oh, and did I mention how amazing this barn setting and HORSE were?? What a dream!
Emma. Newborn.
I can hardly believe it was almost a year and a half ago that we were taking pictures of sweet Madison, and today I had the pleasure of meeting her precious baby sister, Emma! Rossi, you are SUCH a good mommy, and these girls are so blessed to call you theirs. Love watching your girls grow, and can’t wait to share many more memories!
Christmas baby.
It was both magical and crazy stressful through the Christmas season, but we’re so thankful we had this sweet little miracle to celebrate with, even if it was all night!
Merry Christmas!
From our family to yours, we wish you a wonderful Christmas and that you remember the reason we celebrate - our Savior being born! Happy birthday, Jesus!
Julian. 11 days new.
It’s hard to believe our sweet boy is almost 2 weeks old. It’s funny how much I love capturing images for others but sometimes forget to do it myself! We finally carved out time to snap a few of Julian, and although he wasn’t fully cooperative and it exhausted me ;), I sure am glad we did. People tell you your heart only expands with children, and they couldn’t be more right! We love you baby boy and are so glad God gave us you.
Julian Guy.
He’s here!! Julian Guy Overby raced to meet us at 11:25pm on Saturday, October 12. We are so thankful for our healthy, cuddly miracle. I’ll be back in 2020!
Grow Baby Grow!
While I was pregnant with Taylor Grace, I had a fun time taking a picture with the “baby is the size of a ___” fruit or vegetable each week. I looked cute every time I went to the grocery store so I could hunt for the perfect produce and get a nice picture. This go round, 1) I don’t care to look cute most days (SAHM of toddler, no makeup or desire, you know the drill) and 2) I thought it would be fun to involve Taylor Grace to get her excited and learn about baby growing.
I have to say, it has been more fun than I expected! Seeing her excitement, watching her grow as our sweet baby grows, and hearing her pronounce (and want to eat) everything has been a blast. Was there some fruit throwing? Sure. But there sure were a LOT of giggles!
Grow baby grow! We’re so close and can’t wait to meet you soon!
It also became a tradition that Taylor Grace had to take a picture of Mama first. I mean, photographer’s dream?!
Here are a few favorites…because, I know I’m biased, but…she CUTE.
Pretty excited we made it to 39 weeks to get a cute pumpkin picture…perfect for our October baby :)
Konetchy. Family.
I mean, have you seen a more picture perfect family? These friends were TROOPERS on a hot “fall” morning and gave me a fun glance into what life with two will be like before I know it. It was such a privilege taking pictures for you, Kaitlin! Love watching your sweet girls grow more previous each day.
Lilly. One.
Mulutzie. Family.
This family of 6 is seriously always the easiest to photograph! They are so laid back and so funny. It’s such a privilege to get to take pictures of your sweet family each year, Sarah!
TG. THREE.
How is my baby girl three, y’all?? Luckily for me, our backyard has the perfect morning light, and this sassy 3 year old LOVES to take pictures…almost as much as she loves this 3 balloon. We celebrated her actual birthday in Yellowstone, but I’m so glad we still celebrated in our now traditional fashion when we got home, because she has loved the extra fun.
Speaking of fun, 3 has come with some fun new challenges, but boy do I love watching her mind work and the things that bring her joy. She absolutely loves to dance and sing, so naturally she had to have some pictures in her element!
Tera. Wedding Morning!
I can’t believe the day is finally here. It seems like yesterday that my sweet sister/cousin was visiting and telling us all about this boy she met at an out of town wedding. Little did we know that we’d all end up in Montana to celebrate the Lord bringing them together! She was the most beautiful bride, inside and out, and even on a weekend about HER constantly demonstrated her servant heart and love for others. Wishing you both the most amazing marriage that will be a light to others! <3
Madison. 9 Months!
Can you even handle the cuteness overload?!
Jackson. Puppy!
While this isn’t my usual subject, I had to get some shots of my new fur nephew! Meet Jackson! Is he not the cutest thing you’ve ever seen?!
