I’m a big fan of experiences instead of physical gifts, and I had my heart set on a princess tea party for our sweet friend Bell. We missed the last two in our area, so Taylor Grace and I decided to host one for her at our house! Taylor Grace has been asking for another tea party every day since…Happy happy birthday, sweet Bell!
It is so fun to watch lifelong friends become moms. And it’s even more fun to have the honor to photograph their first few days! I’ve known Dana since middle school, and we lived together for a few years in college and after. That was just yesterday, right?! We’ve come a long way since all day PJs and takeout ;) So excited for your sweet family, and congratulations on the most adorable little boy!
I had a blast exploring Bass Lake Park with the sweetest family! I love watching these boys grow up. PLUS, we got to see the craziest fog roll across the lake! Thank y’all so much for continuing to trust me to capture these sweet times in your lives!

Y’all. Ellen is a super model. But really, I love this family so much, and it’s such a privilege to continue taking family pictures for them each year! I still can’t believe our babies…aren’t really babies!!
It seems like only yesterday that we were taking newborn photos for these sweet blessings. Fast forward to their FIRST birthday party, and it was full of people who love them and their sweet parents, as well as amazing decorations by their talented crafty mama. Could they be any more precious?! Happy birthday, sweet girls!
Also, let’s not forget the big moment when Lauren’s brother (with help from her precious niece) opened the box to reveal that the girls are IDENTICAL!
Proud Aunt time. My precious, tender-hearted, loving nephew accepted Jesus into his heart and made the decision to follow Him in baptism! Baptized by his dad and mom (with little brother watching every second) and surrounded by family and friends, Luke had the biggest smile and high fives and hugs for everyone. I love you more than words, Luke, and I can’t wait to see all the plans God has for you!
I blinked. That's all it took. Another year passed, and my precious, joyful, miracle baby girl is two years old! It has been a crazy birthday month for her, including moving to a new home, and unfortunately for her I am obsessed with the morning light in our backyard. Sorry baby girl, but you're going to have lots more of these morning shoots ;)

Words can't ever adequately express how truly amazing it is to watch your friends become parents, especially when you've waited and prayed alongside them. Meeting these precious gifts and watching the love that Dale & Lauren have for them was such a privilege. Thank you for letting me share in this special time with your family of four!
Has anyone else been having as much fun watching this sweet family grow as I have? How is time flying so quickly that baby Nolan is already ONE? It seems like yesterday this was Lyla. These little cuties get more fun each time I see them! And really - those baby blues are already breaking hearts!!
The love you feel when your best friend has a baby is indescribable. I am in awe, in love, and so thrilled for Danielle and Garrett and can't wait to watch sweet Weston grow up. It seems like yesterday we were business fraternity pledges...we sure have come a long way ;) So thankful to do this mommy thing with you, sweet friend!
Everyone always says the days are sometimes long but the years are short...it couldn't be more true! I love being able to spend more time with my baby, who it turns out, isn't so much a baby anymore. She is such a mama's girl right now, and it is so fun to see her sweet personality continue to come out more each day. She seriously waves and says HI to everyone we see, and even no one ;) Here's to trying to remember all of the small things!
Oh, baby boy. Do you have any idea how much you're already loved? I had such a blast showering Danielle with love with her friends and family and celebrating baby Weston. The countdown is on!!

Y'all. Time with the Millers is always a good time. Seriously, they always crack me up! Danielle has been one of my very best friends since sophomore year of college. We always joke that she introduced me to my husband (fun story for another day), so I introduced her to a new career at ROI (yep, the one I just retired from, but hey, we had 5 fun years there together!).
It was such an honor to be able to take pictures for this wonderful family while everyone could be together in one place, while also celebrating the upcoming arrival of baby J!
Also, can we talk about how gorgeous she is? Just saying...
I have known this sweet family since I was little. Mrs. Saletta was one of my favorite teachers at church and has always been a blessing in my life. What an honor it was to be able to take pictures of their family as it grew by FOUR feet with her first grand babies! These girls were troopers in the chilly NC weather and oh so adorable.
